BOILERS

Yesterday Gunther took us to task for not knowing about Treadwell.

Well, he did not really take us to task. But since he knows so much more than the rest of us we felt like we were being taken to task.

So this Daniel Treadwell was a great mechanical mind.

With this attribute he helped us to understand boilers; steel plate and rivets and the things that made up boilers.

So now we had a warning. But not even the great Daniel Treadwell could predict all safety issues.

And The New York Times could only report on disasters that had already occurred.

Do we need a diary to warn us?

  2. It sure does bring clarity to what you are doing on the safety end.

Have fun with it and be sure to post a pointer back to my blog; I need the attention.
